Miami Heat Blame Struggles on Chris Bosh

Coming off of their worst Playoff loss in team history, the Miami Heat know they are a team that can’t make excuses. They'll need to rally behind each other to get back on track.

“Chris [Bosh] has been a joke,” said Miami Heat forward LeBron James. “I mean, it looks like one of the Monstars came down from Moron Mountain and stole his basketball talent.”

Bosh is averaging just 12.3 PPG so far in this postseason, which is a career low from a guy that has averaged 19.5 PPG throughout his career. He has scored 20 points just once in this postseason and has failed to be a difference maker in the NBA Finals. However, don’t expect all of his teammates to echo the thoughts of the LeBron.

“Sometimes it feels like we are playing with four guys out there when Chris is on the court,” said Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade. “I swear I see coach Spo draw up a great play in the huddle for five of us, but once the whistle blows, Chris is in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

When asked if they plan to make any adjustments with the struggles of Chris Bosh, the Spurs didn’t want to reveal too much into their game plan.

“We get really excited when we see [Bosh] come into the game,” said San Antonio Spurs forward Tim Duncan. “Tony and I have really found it difficult not to laugh when we see him get off the bench to check in. Sometimes I wonder if coach Spoelstra is secretly a Spurs fan.”

Tony Parker agreed with his teammate saying, “After playing in France, I always thought I would see much more talent here in the NBA.  But, watching Chris the past few games, I think most guys back home could definitely cut it."

Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra did what he could to deflect the blame off of his embattled forward. “People don’t like to give me credit because they say anyone can win while coaching the ‘Big 3’. I typically tell those people, ‘I’m actually coaching the 'Big 2' and a dinosaur that refuses to go extinct.” Asked why he continues to play Bosh despite his struggles, the coach replied, “The NBA is the entertainment business after all, right? What’s more entertaining than watching [Chris] on the court doing...whatever he does?”

The current former star said he’s been doing his best to keep a positive attitude and is just trying to stay focused. He takes criticism in stride and knows it all starts with him taking accountability for his poor play. “I’d be lying if I said I didn't get distracted by Birdman’s tattoo’s and hair. Sometimes when I go to shoot, I just think about how much it would hurt to get a tattoo on your neck, or I try to count all the different colors I see on his arms. It's getting to me a little bit, but I'm not making excuses.”

The Heat better hope Bosh can turn it around quickly, as Game 4 is set for Thursday night at 9:07 pm.
